New York

The Agency

Independent, and small on purpose.

Weston Talent Agency was founded in New York on a straightforward premise: most talent does not need a bigger agency, it needs an agent who picks up. We keep the roster small enough that every client is worked by someone who could tell you, right now, what they are up for next month.

The best deal is rarely the biggest number on the page.

Term, usage, exclusivity, approval rights and what happens when a campaign gets extended are where careers are quietly made or spent. We negotiate those as hard as the fee, and we tell clients to pass on money when the paper around it is bad.

The agency is independent. There is no parent holding company, no adjacent business that needs feeding, and no incentive to route a client toward the deal that suits the firm rather than the person.

How we work

Four standing rules

Not a mission statement. These are the things a client or a brand can hold us to, and the things we will not trade away for a fee.

One

You get an agent, not a queue

Every client has a named agent and that agent's direct line. Coverage when they travel is another agent who has read the file, not an assistant taking a message.

Two

Same-day on inquiries

Brand inquiries and offers are read the day they arrive and answered on the day they arrive, even when the answer is no. Deals die in silence more often than in negotiation.

Three

Commission only

We are paid when the client is paid, on work we booked. No signing fees, no retainers from talent, no charges for headshots, classes or coaching.

Four

The file follows the client

Quotes, usage terms, conflicts and expirations are tracked properly so a deal signed two years ago never blindsides the one on the table today.
